Is there a free trial?
Yes. The monthly and yearly plans both start with a 7-day free trial when you start them inside the app, on iPhone, Android or the web app: every course, the AI tutor, unlimited Lab recordings. Cancel before the 7 days are up and you pay nothing. The free plan has no time limit, so you can also stay on it for as long as you like.
Is there a free trial in the App Store or Google Play?
Yes. Both plans in the App Store and Google Play start with a 7-day free trial, then £7.99 a month or £69.99 a year. Cancel in your store settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged. The Subscribe buttons on this page charge straight away, with no trial. If you want the 7-day trial, start your plan from inside the app.
Do I have to subscribe here, or can I do it in the app?
Either. Subscribing on this page costs less, because Apple and Google take a commission on anything bought inside an app. If you would rather just tap Subscribe in the app, that works too — you will simply pay the store price.
I already pay through the App Store. Should I subscribe here as well?
No — please don't. You would be paying twice for the same thing. If you want to move over to the web price, cancel first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, wait until that period ends, then subscribe here.
What do I actually get for free?
A proper taster — your first lesson of every course, daily Pronunciation Lab recordings and word searches, and audio, no card required. That is one track at beginner level. Membership opens the whole method: the Pronunciation Lab unlimited on every word, all 600+ lessons across speaking, reading and grammar from beginner to advanced, the AI tutor and roleplay, 4,000+ smart-review flashcards, every topic pack, writing feedback and every certificate.
Does a web subscription work in the iPhone app?
Yes. Your membership follows your account, not your device. Sign in on the iPhone app, the Android app or the web and it is all there.
What if I pay with the wrong email?
Nothing is lost. Forward your Stripe receipt to support@ravelathai.com, tell us which address you use to sign in, and we will move the membership across — usually the same day.
Can I send my recordings to Kru Pook on the free plan?
Yes, three times. Tap Ask Kru Pook to check it in the Pronunciation Lab and she listens and replies in the app and by email. Free accounts get three checks; members can send as many as they like. Recordings are only kept from learners aged 16 and over.
How old do you have to be?
13 or over for an account. Under 16, the app never stores your recordings, so the Lab works on your device only and Kru Pook's checks aren't available. Under 18, you can read the community but not post, and you won't get marketing emails. It's all in the privacy policy.
Can I cancel?
Any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Monthly and yearly are both cancelled the same way, from your account.
