Notice what got corrected: a politeness slip, which is exactly the kind of thing a phrase list never catches. Notice too what didn't: nobody commented on the tones. That's deliberate, and it's worth being clear about.

What the AI tutor does and doesn't do

Tones matter a lot in Thai. ใกล้ klâi (near) and ไกล klai (far) differ only by tone, and there are five tones to learn. So tone practice gets its own tool. 4. Ask when you're lost. Use ไม่เข้าใจ mâi khâo-jai (I don't understand) and พูดช้าๆ phûut cháa-cháa (speak slowly) inside the roleplay. You'll need them in Thailand too.
